I’ve been writing,
producing and directing radio, film and video since student days
and later applied these skills also to public events, adding
software-based multi-media as it emerged.

Tough
assignments are no disincentive: I'm in the middle, producing
and directing in the southern Omani desert at summer mid-day
temperatures for the oil exploration company Schlumberger.

I spent the 1970s at the BBC,
training in the demanding producer/director role and becoming series
producer in educational tv where I was responsible for much innovative
programming. Some was still being repeated more than ten years after I
left. In the 1980s I moved into production for Thames
tv, Channel 4 and independent production companies.
My production work has won awards
and some has been recognised as state-of-the-art innovation. I handle
documentary in the UK and overseas and
drama, mixed media and corporate work.
Film and TV production skills are directly
transferable to the production
of public
events - and have been with my work on national award schemes,
presentations and international conferences.
